One Year of Love, Life, and Everything in Between

I don't think either of us imagined we'd be celebrating our first wedding anniversary while I recuperate from major surgery.

But here we are!

This past year has been an amazing whirlwind of changes and life events. From James stepping into his new role as VP, squeezing in adventures whenever possible, juggling chronic illness, and simply navigating everyday life together.

It certainly hasn't been boring!

I couldn't imagine spending the second half of my life with anyone other than this husband of mine.

There are so many wonderful things I could say about James and so many lessons we've learned from one another along the way.

I like to think I've encouraged James to step outside his comfort zone, embrace new adventures, and really live life.

And James has taught me something equally important.

It's okay to slow down. To sit. To simply be.

Something that doesn't always come naturally to me!

Yin and Yang? Maybe.

But somehow, it works.

And I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Here's to another year of adventures, unexpected turns, laughter, and figuring out this thing called life together.
